During the summer before my senior year of college, I had the opportunity to illustrate a children’s chapter book. I enjoyed the process of perfecting the look of the characters and I was able to become very invested in the whole story of LilyPad Pond. John Foss wrote the book in order to connect with his children and grandchildren; I feel honored to have gotten the opportunity to use my skills to heighten their interaction with the story.
